about our challenges

The fundamental premise of the Global Built World AI Challenge is that the real estate industry has many workflows that are faced by industry professionals on a regular basis, across the globe.

These workflows conform to patterns: they require certain inputs, that need to be processed in a certain way, and demand outputs in a set format.

As such they should be amenable to being fulfilled, to a large extent, by excellently crafted prompts.

Here is a document with the exact format that you’d need to submit and a fully worked example of a completed challenge - one goal and five tasks, each with a templated prompt.

If the prompts are written by people who understand both AI and real estate, they should form a transferrable resource that not only define precisely what is required to ‘get things done‘ but that are suitable for use, (perhaps with mild adaptation) by thousands of people within the industry, on a daily basis.

The aim of the Global Built World AI Challenge is to bring the worlds of technology and real estate together, so that each can act as a flywheel for the other.

We are looking to uncover the talent of the future; people who are comfortable in both domains, and who can help bring about a step change in the productivity of the industry.

We will be having challenges across many asset classes, including Residential, Office, Logistics, Retail, Data Center, Hospitality and Construction.

For every main track ‘Challenge‘ there will be a choice of five ‘Goals’ to choose from. In each case they will have 5 dependant ‘Tasks’, for which a prompt is required for each.
